individuals with different needs
Ethics is the study of how people interact with one another and the environment.

consider choice which is available to all staff and patients. Health professionals should also
use independence; this would promote empowerment to the service user. Conflict of
interest; this interest service users whose needs are paramount and health professionals
should follow confidentiality to make sure everyone is safe guarded.
There are four different ethical principles, the first one is autonomy. Autonomy in
healthcare refers to the patient's freedom to remain in charge of their body both during
and after treatment. Second ethical principle is Beneficence which means acting with
kindness or mercy. Any healthcare professional's activities should always be positive
towards the service user. Third is non-maleficence, In order to practise non-maleficence, a
healthcare worker must not cause injury. All healthcare professionals are required to
thoroughly assess each scenario before making judgments. Every healthcare practitioner
has a responsibility to be aware of how each of their actions may affect others, whether
they do so deliberately or unknowingly. Decisions can be harmful to patients, the
community, or even fellow healthcare professionals. The last ethical principle is justice.
According to the justice principle, all medical decisions should be fair. For instance,
regardless of their circumstances, people need access to advanced health care. Patients
have frequently been denied the essential care because of their socioeconomic background,

worries about the standard or expense of care, or staff behaviour. Because they feel poorly

more judgmental than normal. Conflicts can also occur when colleagues make different
decisions.
Care providers occasionally encounter conflicts of interest when working with vulnerable
individuals in health and social care settings. In these situations, they must come up with
an ethical solution. There is frequently no right response to an ethical dilemma; instead, the
answer depends on a combination of factors.
Questions have been made about how health and social care services should be provided
due to a lack of money. Due to an ageing population, rising demands, and pricey medical
advances, funding pressures are still increasing. As a result, in some circumstances, moral

All Health and social care services and their staff have a responsibility of confidentiality to
