Múltiples clasificaciones de los deportes:
• En función de la participación:
o Deportes individuales
o Deportes colectivos (2 o más jugadores) - deportes de adversario
(enfrentamiento 1-1 o 2-2)
• Según las características básicas:
o Deportes de cancha dividida: se caracterizan porque los jugadores o
bandos contrarios se sitúan frente a frente en espacios diferenciados y
separados por una red (raya, cuerda o espacio muerto) con el objetivo de
lanzar o golpear un móvil por encima de ésta (separación entre canchas
como el voleibol, tenis)
o Deportes de invasión/cancha compartida: una misma cancha: fútbol,
rugby, baloncesto (entre otros)
ESTRUCTURA FUNCIONAL DE LOS DEPORTES DE EQUIPO
Elementos que se repiten en todos los deportes en equipo. Estos pueden ser modificados
para su enseñanza.
• Espacio. Lugar donde se desarrollan los deportes que tiene unas características
constantes. Suele estar dividido en subespacios (áreas: delimitan el espacio que
puedo usar) y sus características determinarán las conductas motrices de los
jugadores.

b. Espacio dividido en subespacios diferenciados.
1. Zonas fijas (las pintadas en el campo que siempre tienen la misma
función).
2. Zonas variables (desde donde marco un lanzamiento después de
