Examen workflow1. Hoe kan je fonts in een PDF-file zetten?
Bij het opslaan van een bestand in PDF, kan je ervoor kiezen fonts volledig in te sluiten (embed) of
enkel de tekens die je gebruikt hebt in te sluiten (subset). Of gewoon volledig geen fonts insluiten (SH).
2. Geef de 3 R’s met hun uitleg
- Research: manueel of automatisch preflight ter controle of alles technisch correct is en als er een
innerlijke samenhang is voor de files aangeleverd worden aan de volgende productiestap.
- Report: resultaat kan bekeken worden met de problemen (errors) die niet accepteerbaar zijn, de
warnings en de fixes.
- Repair: oplossen van de problemen door het aanbrengen van wijzigingen (kleurruimte omzetten,
lettertype insluiten, paginavakken wijzigen, lettertype omzetten, …)
3. Impositieprogramma’s met twee voorbeelden

- Autonoom (Preps, Dynastrip)

4. Geef het verschil tussen een PDF/X-file en Pitstop certified file
PDF/X gebeurt tijdens het maken van de PDF en certiefied PDF betekent dat deze adhv een preflight
profiel goed bevonden is. PDF/X heeft bepaalde specificaties maar kan nog veel variëteit bevatten
(transparantie, lagen, rgb) in tegenstelling tot een certiefied PDF die klaar is voor de volgende stap =
impositie of RIP.
