Running the Event.
During the event I was involved in coordinating resources this included directing shift for us to take
turns on the stand and making sure there was always enough change in the till to be able to give out
change successfully, manning the stand during the event I was on the stand selling for the longest
period of time on the day and I believe this was due to my experience working in sales and creating
the display before the event started which involved making the tables of the stand looking exactly
how they should to maximise sales this included printing ticket prices for the stock that we bought.

responsible for making sure that our items were
labelled for the event as I had realised on the
day before the event that we hadn’t created
any, which why I had to create then during the
morning of the event. This was to avoid any
issues with pricing and to give the staff a more
professional look to it.

the event I was a part of the first shift in the
morning for the event which meant that a
responsibility of mine was to help to organise
the stall. Making sure everything was neat and
tidy was essential to promote sales as a scruffy
stall would certainly have not given off a
professional look to the stall, in the picture
evidence provided for Appendix 2, how the stall
is set out here wasn’t the final layout that we
proceeded with for the event.

Creating the spreadsheet to manage finance Appendix 3.
and stock for the event; it was my responsibility
to take care of everything money related for
our event, this included budget, stock and
pricing of the products so we could project and
estimate how much money we would raise for
Calderwood house. I created keys and colour
coding so that the spreadsheet was easy to
follow for the rest of the team and it made it See Witness Statement
easier for me to write a conclusion and report
to present to James about how the event
planning was going. For example a great profit
per unit meant that that particular item had a
high profit margin and should be an item that
we consider stocking for the event and if these
figures correlated with a blue product it meant
that the product would be in demand as well.
