,Foreword
My name is Kim Bronswijk and I am a second-year pabo student. I am doing an internship in group 7
at CBS de Kameleon. This report deals with CLIL in primary education. This has been investigated
both in practice and in theory. I taught one geography lesson in English. In addition, I have
researched in the literature what the characteristics of CLIL are
I enjoyed teaching the class. I had never taught another lesson (that is not English) in English before. I
had no trouble giving an instruction in English.
I would like to thank a few more people. Firstly, my supervisor Lisanne Spaans, without her I would
never have been able to give the lessons and get feedback.
I would also like to thank Helen Morgan for giving the clear lectures and the clear feedback to my
lesson preparation.
