Feedback:
Great work, Alkecear! You have submitted an excellent, student-centred lesson. Your aims are clear and
achievable, and you have structured your activities into a PPP plan that progresses logically. Each stage of
your lesson plan is clear, well-timed and with clear procedures and aims. You include well-designed materials
which will probably work
Your activities are student-centred and communicative. The production activity gives a chance to learners to
express the target language in a fun way, in context.
You have identified some real issues relating to the learners’ L1, age and level, to which you have
supplied suitable and practical solutions. You have analysed your target language well, providing definitions,
CCQs and a phonemic script.
Your rationale is well-written, justifying your choice of methodology and describing the stages of your lesson.
There are a few improvements you could consider. Please read my comments below:
Your warmer is a good idea and looks fun. I’d stick to present simple tense. If you ask students to write about
their experiences (I have published a book and I have eaten frog legs) they will need to use present perfect
tense, which will be a real challenge at this level.
The true/false sentences in your production task must be about body parts (My feet are big, My ears have
earrings etc.).
