Dit beroepsproduct is geschreven voor het vak vakmanschap een kleur geven
(C118) aan het Saxion in Enschede en Aveleijn de Zwaluwborgh. Ik werk bij Aveleijn
de Zwaluwborgh, dit is een 24-uurswoonvoorziening voor mensen met een
verstandelijke beperking. Zelf werk ik op de eerste verdieping waar mensen met een
licht tot matige verstandelijke beperking wonen en ook andere bijkomende
problematieken zoals agressie, dementie en autisme.
In dit beroepsproduct ben ik op zoek gegaan naar belangrijke kwestie in mijn praktijk
om onder de aandacht te brengen. Ik heb gekozen voor empowerment bij mensen
met een verstandelijke beperking, waarom zal later duidelijk worden in het
beroepsproduct. Ook zal ik uitleggen waarom deze kwestie van belang is voor mijn
eigen ontwikkeling als professional en voor de professie. Voor het creatieve aspect
van dit beroepsproduct heb ik besloten om een tijdschrift te maken.
