1. Defibrillatie
Definitie:
= het toedienen van een elektrische stroomstoot aan het hart.
- Moet chaotische activiteit van de hartspiercellen opheffen en een
gesynchroniseerde activiteit te hervatten.

- Maakt deel uit van een reanimatieproces

- Energiegehalte
o Volw. 200 J (daarna eventueel opdrijven tot 360J)

o Cardiopulmonaire resuscitatie met invasieve middelen
o Gebruik manuele externe defibrillator ➔ staand order

Materialenkennis

= toestel dat door een kortstondige elektrische stroomstoot de chaotische
prikkelvorming onderbreekt.
o De sinusknoop of AV-knop kan gebruik maken om het hart weer een
sinusritme op te leggen.
o Belangrijk om pompfunctie herstellen. Er moeten terug pulsaties voelbaar
zijn.
