Voor u ligt de casestudy, uitgevoerd op de afdeling psychiatrie van het Spaarne Gasthuis, over een
casus met de diagnose; functioneel neurologische stoornis (FNS). De casestudy is geschreven naar
aanleiding van praktijkleerperiode 5 vanuit de Hogeschool Leiden.
De keuze voor het onderwerp FNS is gebaseerd op dat ik weinig kennis had over het onderwerp en er
afdelingsbreed veel onzekerheden waren. Dit zorgde ervoor dat er klinische onzekerheden
ontstonden over de zorg die werd geleverd.
Graag zou ik alle verpleegkundigen en artsen van de afdeling psychiatrie willen bedanken voor het
delen van hun ideeën en gedachtes. Zonder hen had deze casestudy niet kunnen verlopen zoals het
nu is gegaan. Daarbij wil ik mijn docenten van school bedanken voor de gegeven feedback en
ondersteuning in het afgelopen half jaar.
