– M = buigend Moment, het krom = gebogen gaan staan van staven
– W = Wringing, torsie van de staaf-as (proberen te vorkomen)
Als de constructie niet kapot gaat:
– Dit betekent dat het effect van de uitwendige krachten, de capaciteit van de inwendige
krachten niet overschrijdt
