Additieven in coating pasta
- Pigmenten: geven kleur
- Vullers: krijt, wordt gebruikt om de kosten te verlagen om de coating pasta op te vullen
(minder materiaal van coating pasta)
- Titanium oxide: om de pasta wit te krijgen
- Verdikkers: viscositeit te veranderen (op de juiste viscositeit te verbeteren)
- Antioxidanten: levensduur verhogen
- UV stabilisators: levensduur verhogen
- Oppervlaktespanning modificatoren (wetting agents): om de coating goed op het oppervlak
te kunnen aanbrengen. Om dit te doen moeten we de oppervlakte spanning veranderen.
- Anti-tack agenten: een middel dat de plakkerigheid verminderd
- Verzachters: de pasta verzachten
Additieven zijn in poedervorm.
Functionele additieven zorgen ook voor de functionele eigenschappen:
- Vlam vertragende chemicaliën
- Anti-bacteriële middelen
- Waterafstotende chemicaliën
