Nous avons tendance à assimiler la pensée et la conscience au sens où penser
consiste en même temps à savoir qu’on pense. Cependant, il arrive que certains gestes
ou idées soient “automatiques” dans notre quotidien, de même quand des idées
s’associent lorsqu’on rêve. Peut-on appeler ces moments pendant lesquels la
conscience se retire, des “pensées” ?
Si on accepte cette hypothèse, l’inconscient serait un mode de la pensée tout comme la
conscience. La conscience définirait alors la connaissance plus ou moins claire d’un
“sujet” sur lui même et l’inconscient serait la part inaperçue de notre psychologie que
pourtant constitue tout de même notre identité.
On distingue trois formes de l’inconscient :
L’inconscient collectif : toutes les manières de penser et agir selon notre culture ou
éducation.
L’inconscience : un manque d’attention au monde extérieur et à nous même qui
peut nous mettre en danger.
L’inconscient : le principe qui expliquerait certaines de nos actions, paroles ou
pensées “automatiques”. La psychanalyse cherche à l’explorer.
