Belangrijke dingen vooraf
Verschil z-toets en t-toets
z-toets gebruiken als gemiddelde en t-toets gebruiken als gemiddelde en
standaarddeviatie van de populatie bekend is standaarddeviatie van de populatie niet bekend

SPSS voert altijd een tweezijdige toets uit, wil je nu een eenzijdige toets? dan sign. (2 tailed) /2
Een toets is significant als je de H0 verwerpt, dus een toets is NIET-significant als je H0 NIET verwerpt
Wanneer verwerpen? Als p-waarde < α dan verwerpen
Kijken naar onderste rij: ‘’equal variance not assumed’’ voor bijvoorbeeld waarde van toetstatistiek
etc.
In SPSS: Levene’s test, p-waarde: ‘’sign. (2 tailed)‘’ = p-waarde (van toetsstatistiek)
In SPSS: Levene’s test eerste twee cellen (bovenste rij) toetst of varianties van twee groepen
statistisch verschillend zijn, sign. = p-waarde van varianties
SPSS maakt geen onderscheid tussen de X2-test for independence en X2-test for homogenity

Paired-samples t-test / paired-samples z-test = onafhankelijke two-samples t-test:
Één groep mensen die op verschillende momenten (en manieren) testen, vaak gebruik gemaakt
van verschilscores, in principe hetzelfde als een one sample t-toets op de verschilscores
Paired-samples t-test: Analyze compare means paired sampes t-test dan;
variabele 1 = after, variabele 2 = before
Verschilscores (nieuwe variabele a.d.h.v oude variabelen): transform compute variable

Testvariable = gewoon variabele die je moet hebben
Independent-samples t-test / independent-samples z-test: 2 of meerdere groepen mensen,
waarvan en groep = testgroep en andere groep = controlegroep
Independent-samples t-test: analyze compare means independent-samples t-test

test variable = variabele waarvan we het gemiddelde verschil willen weten
grouping variable = variabele die aangeeft welke groepen we met elkaar willen
