The contractor is responsible for: Controlling the quality of supplies or services Deliver to the Government only those supplies or services that conform to contract requirements Ensuring that vendors or suppliers have an acceptable quality control system Maintaining substantiating evidence that the supplies or services conform to contract quality requirements And furnishing such information to the Government as required. What is the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP)? is the key Government-developed surveillance process document that is applied to Performance-Based Service Contracting (PBSC) and is used to manage contractor performance assessment by ensuring that systematic quality assurance methods are utilized to validate that the contractor's quality control efforts are timely, effective, and are delivering the results specified in the contract or task order.
