Epiblast mesoderm
(intermediar) Mesoderm is belangrijk voor ontwikkeling nieren en
interne geslachtsorganen. Mesoderm kun je opdelen in delen:
Intermediair mesoderm: tussen somiet en zijplaat mesoderm.
Ontwikkeling nieren:
1. Uit het intermediair mesoderm ontwikkeld zich de nephrogene streng. Dit begint
helemaal craniaal.
De eerst aangelegde nier heet de pronephros (= voornier). Deze is niet functioneel.
Ook ontstaat de ductus pronephricus (= voorloper ductus mesonephricus, gang
van Wolff)
2. Ontwikkeling mesonephros (oernier, plaatje B en C)
Tijdelijk functioneel
Ontstaan ductus mesonephricus: tijdelijke primitieve urineleider, sluit aan op de
cloaca/urogenitale sinus (voor, achter = rectale kanaal) (gele deel plaatje). Uit de
urogenitale sinus ontstaat uiteindelijk de blaas.
Let op: blaasepitheel is afkomstig van het endoderm
3. Ontwikkeling metanephros (nanier, definitieve nier)
Ontwikkeling wordt geïnduceerd door de ureterknop in het metanephrogeen
blasteem.

, Seriële splitsing van de ureterknop:
Eerste generatie: fusie tot nierbekken en calyces

door tot de geboorte
2 x 10^6 nefronen gevormd,
hierna nog door interstitiële
groei
Als splitsing fout gaat:
- Splitsing is te vroeg
Dubbele ureter aangelegd, = ureter bifidus
- Splitsing blasteen is te vroeg
Dubbele niet met beiden een afvoergang
Ascensus renalis = opstijgende nier, wordt veroorzaakt door de lengtegroei en kromming van
het embryo nieren relatief steeds hoger
Het opstijgen van de nieren kan ook fout gaat:
Accesoire nierarteriën of niervenen: meerdere arteriën/venen
gaan van/naar een nier (25-30% van de mensen). Meestal: niet
meer dan 2, naar binnen via het hilum. Het kan zo zijn dat ze
via de boven of onderpool de nier in treden.
