1.1 De begrippen anatomie & fysiologie
- Situering van fysiologie & anatomie als een specialisme van de biologie >
fysiologie: biochemie & fysiologie & anatomie: morfologie & anatomie.
- Anatomie = de studie van het menselijk lichaam, bouw van het lichaam >
ontleedkunde.
- Fysiologie = verklaart de functie van het lichaam > hoe het werkt.

Topografische anatomie = bespreking per regio van het lichaam. (vb; hand)
- Orgaan = opgebouwd uit verschillende weefsels (orgaanniveau).
- Opbouw anatomie binnen de opleiding ergo: systematische anatomie.
Beenderstelsel = osteologie > passieve bewegingsapparaat.
Spierstelsel = myologie > actieve bewegingsapparaat.

- Bestudeert de functies van levende organismen.
