In the wake of his revolt, wave of white hysteria swept through south. VA legislature shot down any antislavery proposals. Slave states find strength and public debate of slavery ceased in the South. Chains of indebtedness - Ans ✔️✔️-Mid 1770 s-late 1780 s During and after the Revolutionary War, They could only pay in coins that came from Europe or Spain.
