 Differentiatie
o Het uitschakelen van gen dat zorgt voor de specialisatie van de cel.


 Weefsel
o Een samenwerking van cellen met eenzelfde specialisatie.
o Een cluster van cellen met eenzelfde specialisatie.

 Histologie
o Leer van de weefsels.


De vier basisweefsel:
1) Dekweefsel
2) Bindweefsel
3) Spierweefsel
4) Zenuwweefsel



1. Dekweefsel = ‘epitheel’


 Wat?
o Bestaat uit lagen cellen die in- of uitwendige oppervlakken bekleden.

o Bevatten klieren
 Scheiden stoffen af

 Kenmerken:

o De cellen liggen dicht op elkaar.

o Ze hebben een vrij (apicaal) oppervlak
 Blootgesteld aan een inwendig compartiment of inwendige transportbuis

o Ze zijn via basale membraan aan onderliggende bindweefsel verbonden.

o Avasculaire structuur (= afwezigheid bloedvaten)
 Epitheel cellen nemen voedingsstoffen op uit diepere weefsels.

o Voortdurende regeneratie (= vervanging) van epitheelcellen
 Die aan het blootgestelde oppervlak beschadigd raken of verloren gaan.

,  Functies:


o Fysieke bescherming
 Beschermt uitwendige en inwendige oppervlakten tegen externe invloeden en
schadelijke stoffen.
 Vb. scheven, uitdroging, chemische stoffen, bacteriën, micro-organismen,…


o Doorlaatbaarheid reguleren
 Alle stoffen die het lichaam in-uit gaan moeten doorheen dekweefsel

 Sommige dekweefsels zijn goed doorlaatbaar andere quasi ondoorlaatbaar (=
impermeabel)


o Zintuigfunctie
 Nemen veranderingen waar in de omgeving.

 Geven info (de veranderingen) door aan het zenuwstelsel
 Vb. tastzintuig in de huid


o Vorming gespecialiseerde klierproducten:

 Vormen gespecialiseerde klierproducten ( = kliercellen)
 Liggen meestal verspreidt tussen de andere celtypen in het weefsel.


 Klierepitheel
 Vormen de meeste cellen zich.


 2 soorten klieren:

 Exocriene klieren
o De klierproducten worden afgegeven aan het externe oppervlak
van het epitheel.
 Bv. Enzymen => spijsverteringskanaal

 Endocriene klieren
o De klierproducten worden intern, aan het weefselvocht en het
bloed afgegeven.
 Bv. Hormonen

o Worden gevormd in de pancreas, schildklier,…
