Analogue multimeter
, An analogue multimeter also known as a test meter is a measuring device that uses a moving coil. Before digital technology
replaced analog methods in the 1990s these meters were a common sight in laboratories. The analogue meter often had just a
single meter and movement, however as parallel and series resistors were made to produce the right ranges, a big rotating
switch on the front panel was used to change the range. There are many uses of the analogue multimeter such as measuring
voltage, measuring current, measuring resistance, continuity test, diode and transistor testing, and the hfe(gain) value of a
transistor. Since the multimeter is a device primarily used with electricity it has a lot of applications where it can be used by
scientists, mechanics, electrical engineers, line installers and repairers. here is an example of a commonly used analogue
multimeter.

Operational Features
There are many operational features of the Analog multimeter. The specific multimeter I have chosen is the Draper 37317
Pocket Analogue Multimeter. All the features have a brief annotation with the picture, and I will now expand on them. This
multimeter is implemented with a galvanometer movement, it works by deflecting the pointer (9) in response to an electric
