De steekproef: 470 van mijn medestudenten, en studenten van de afgelopen 2 jaar
aan het begin van blok 4 die het vak Quantitative Methods volgen. De populatie is
het totale aantal studenten dat het vak volgt. Elke student van het dat totaal had
een gelijke kans om de survey in te vullen en daarmee willekeurig werden
geselecteerd. Maar er is altijd een mogelijkheid dat de groep of de steekproef niet
de populatie als geheel vertegenwoordigt, in dat geval wordt elke willekeurige
variatie een steekproeffout genoemd. Het kan namelijk zijn dat alleen de ijverige
studenten de survey hebben ingevuld.
