P5: Explain the external factors that influence a selected
business considering trading internationally. M3: Carry
out a situational analysis on two countries a selected
business may consider trading in.
Introduction
In this task I am going to explain the external factors that may influence a selected business
when considering trading internationally, in this case Tesla, I will be explaining the factors
that affect the company externally through a pestle, swot and 5Cs analysis. I will therefore
be carrying out a situational analysis on two countries that Tesla may consider trading in.
1ST Country: Russia
As the first country to choose for this report as an LDC

internally. Russia does not seek assistance from the
West, instead relying on its own natural resources, overall, the country is well-modernized,
with new and refurbished infrastructure.
2nd Country: Ethiopia
As the second country for this report as an emerging economy I decided Ethiopia. The
country has understood that in recent
years technology has become fundamental
and that it is the future of the nation, and
in fact the state is taking advantage of it to
become the number one technological
centre on the African continent. Another

country which shows that the nation is in
the mood for innovation, the car was
designed by a Hyundai dealership,
Marathon Motors, the decision to
assemble electric cars in follows the request put forth by the prime minister to the Hyundai
president. In a statement made by the prime minister who forwards the reasons for this
