P2 – Interpretaton of the Data collected from the surveo:
In this assignment I will describe how the scientic theories are developed including the
processes involved.
Firstly, the scientst gets an idea about a certain topic. An idea is something which make the
scientst wonder about why certain things are in a certain way and why they happen the
way they do. The next step in order to develop the ideas of the scientst he/she will need to
make assumptons and discover upon that partcular idea. This will help the scientst in
coming up if their idea is useful and could be used in the society. It is important to discover
and research on that topic where that idea came from because it might prevent any errors
when testng the idea in the future. There could be something wrong with the idea which
might mean that proving or supportng the idea might be a waste of tme unless you have
made some good researches and discoveries on that topic.
The next step, when the scientst comes up with the idea and has a good research on the
topic of their choice, they will have to test the idea. It is important because the scientst will
have to prove it. When the scientst tests the idea, they will obtain the evidence in order to
support the idea which they came up with. This could be helpful to make the idea of the
scientst stand out and possibly strong enough to support their idea which they could use to
contnue with their idea development.
The next step in developing the idea of the scientst is to make a hypothesis. Hypothesis is
the explanaton or assumpton based on the evidence provided for the further development
in the investgaton. Once that is done, the predicatons are made by the scientst, this make
sure that the scientst has to predict the statement for the future reference in the
investgaton. The last step in order to develop the idea of the scientst is to be able to
illustrate it. This means that inal conclusions and the overall scientic investgaton the
results need to be presented in some sort of a format.
One of the famous examples in the theory developments is the evoluton theory.
The scientst named Darwin came up with this theory that everything began with the natural
selecton. He stated that most of the species around diferent regions tend to have a wide
range of variaton. He came up with the idea that the reason for this variaton is because of
the diferences in their genes. He then proceeded with his discoveries and he found out that
those with the most suited to the environment characteristcs were most likely to survive
and produce a fertle ofspring into the further generatons. He collected the evidence that
these genes are passed to their ofspring which would be able to survive and reproduce too.
Darwin collected enough evidence in order to support his argument. He tested the idea and
also wrote the hypothesis which was the idea that ‘the species with the characteristcs most
