My first overall aim I wish to achieve in v years is to be studyin business innovaton and enterprise
at Ed e Hill University. To do this I aim to achieve D*D*D* as my overall rade at the end of my
course. A skill which I may want to develop which will help me when studyin business innovaton
and enterprise may be to improve my presentaton skillss this will help me display any small
businesses or ideas that I come up with durin the duraton of my course. As well as this it will also
improve my confidence and eneral skills in a workplace. The ability to ive a competent and well
thou ht out presentaton is a sof transferable skill that I will be able to use un many diferent
settin ss such as in my educaton and in a work settin . This sof transferable skill can be developed
by constant practse and is a very valued skill that employers look fors especially if they are expectn
their employees to represent the company.
Another oal I hope to achieve in the next two years is to pass my drivin test by only takin a
maximum amount of 3 atempts at either the theory or the practcal test. A transferable skill that
will come in handy when atemptn to achieve this oal would be persistence. Persistence is
important in achievin this oal because it will prevent me from ettin disheartened if I
unexpectedly fail a part of the tests it will also aid me in contnuin if I feel like quittin . Persistence is
a skill that is important to have in eneral because it will allow me to contnue with ideas and
ventures I partake in in the futures especially considerin any future job opportunites or the job I
want in the future.
In v years’ tme when I am studyin at university I hope to have a part tme job that I can use to
support my studyin and fund my educaton. hat determines whether I will be able to et and
maintain a steady part tme job is my commitment and tme mana ement skills. For examples
workin and studyin at the same tme will require me to have ood tme mana ement because I
will have to allocate tme for both and decide which is more important at what tme. The part tme
job I et will also be determined by my commitment for the jobs because the more I am commited
the more likely I am to enjoy the roles therefore improvin my performance in that role and makin
it more likely for me to et a promoton. Promotons will then lead to further job opportunites and
hi her pays makin it easier for me to support myself.
One thin that is nearly as important as studyin and workin hard is my healths as I need to make
sure I am healthy enou h to be able to work in certain roles or to study efectvely. Therefores in v
years I also hope to have joined a ym and oten in shape. Gettin in shape will improve both my
physical and mental healths makin it easier for me to artculate pieces of work and preventn me
from ettin stressed and burned out on university work. A skill that will benefit me when I am
atemptn to et in shape is a positve attitude at all tmess this will help me identfy when I am
makin pro ress and will keep me oin even if I feel like ivin up. A positve attitude is also
beneficial in other instancess such as if I am rejected by an employer or if I et a lower than expected
score on an exam. A positve attitude is also advertsed by a lot of companies as an important trait
for all their employeess therefore this may be beneficial for me in the lon -term as well.
An overall aim that I hope to achieve in v years or less is to make enou h money to o on holiday or
do some travellin s at the moment I am unemployed and do not have enou h to comfortably o on
holiday. Goin travellin Is an overall aim of mine because I believe it will ive me some respite from
the daily stresses of life and will open my eyes to a variety of diferent and excitn cultures. A skill
that could help me in ainin enou h money to o travellin is the ability to accurately calculate
financess this is sometmes seen as a hard-transferable skill by some employerss so I will also be
looked upon more favourably if I possess this skill. This skill will help me o travelin because I will
