target audience is 16 to 24 year olds which are the main
users of social media. Hence why it would be benefcial to
advertise here to promote themselves to a larger market.
Posters Posters at bus stops are a successful method of
advertising as London is fairly close to Thorpe Park and
there are multiple buses a day from London directly to the
park so having the posters at bus stops would encourage
people to get a bus to Thorpe Park. There are over 13,000
bus stops in London alone with bus shelters with a facility
to advertise so this would be great publicity for the park to
attract more visitors.
Celebrity endorsements The benefts of hiring public fgures to promote the theme
park is that it can attract a wider audience who may not
have necessarily been interested in visiting the park but
can be attracted to it if one of their favourite celebrities
has taken an interest into it. Nowadays there are many
reality television stars that have become popular from
various shows which I think would be useful for
advertisement as they have large followings.

launch of the new ride and to advertise the park and the
ride on the sides of cereal boxes which attracts families to
visit the park and broaden the target age audience.

basis mainly being Kellogg’s cereal so advertising on
these boxes would be a successful form of promotion.
Billboards Billboards are benefcial forms of advertising as they
reach a large audience of passers-by especially in a
central town such as London in addition to being able to
