DarlahJe denkt nu misschien, oh wat een saai boek, dit gaat waarschijnlijk over de maan en alles wat daarbij
hoort, maar Darlah is een boek dat vol zit met plottwisten, onverwachte wendingen en spannende
ontknopingen, waardoor je het niet kan wegleggen en je wekenlang nachtmerries van gaat krijgen.
Darlah gaat over Midori, Antoine en Mia die de drie gelukkige winnaars waren van de loterij die
NASA heeft georganiseerd: ze mogen nu een week, 172 uur, naar de maan. Terwijl ze ontzettend blij
zijn raakt een oude man in Miami helemaal in paniek. Hij weet dat die maanreis het einde van alles
kan betekenen. Hij probeert het te stoppen, maar het aftellen is al begonnen…
De schrijver, Johan Harstad, heeft hele duidelijke beschrijvingen gegeven waardoor het heel erg
realistisch leek. Soms zo realistisch dat je de dingen echt voor je ziet gebeuren en dat je het gevoel
krijgt dat je ernaast staat. Bij de spannende stukjes ga je dan echt de neiging krijgen om het boek
dicht te slaan en weg te rennen.
Dus als je zin hebt om eens helemaal in een boek gezogen te worden, je van spannende boeken
houdt of als je wekenlang slecht wilt slapen, lees dit boek.
