Stravaganza deel 5Isabel Evans is tien minuten jonger dan haar tweelingbroer Charlie en heeft altijd al in zijn schaduw
gestaan. Iedereen vond Charlie altijd de speciale, populaire en slimme jongen, maar Isabel trok zich
daar niks van aan en hield zich bezig met kunst. Toen ze op een dag een zakje vol met mooie mozaïek
steentjes zag liggen in een winkel twijfelde ze geen moment en kocht het. Ze kwam er later pas
achter, toen ze met het zakje in slaap was gevallen, dat het een talisman was en belandde in Classe
(wat identiek is aan het huidige Ravenna).
Ravenna is druk bezig met de voorbereiding op een aanval vanuit het oosten. Voor Isabel is het al vrij
snel duidelijk waarom ze naar Ravenna is gestravageerd: ze moeten helpen bij de zeeslag die zal
plaatsvinden. Terwijl ze probeert de stad te verdedigen komt ze steeds meer andere stravaganti
tegen die haar komen helpen om de zeeslag te winnen.
