Explain how human beings can damage the environment (P1)
In this part of my assignment I am going to be going into detail and explain
how human beings can damage the environment. To begin with the
environment is "the natural world, as a whole or in a particular geographical
area, especially as afected by human activity" (Google Dictionary, 2017), the
environment is both visible - water and invisible – air. Within the environment
is things needed for human survival, it also afects an individual's health
psychically and psychologically.
Macro and micro environment
Alongside this, there are two types of environments including the macro-
environment and the micro-environment. Macro environment are usually
large and city based including urban areas, residential areas, the green
environment and industrial environment (Dehaney, 2018). However, micro
environments are micro meaning they are small, this usually refers to
personal space such as a room/home.
There are many reasons as to how humans damage the environment
including urbanisation, intensifcation of agriculture, and pollution. I will now
be discussing these in further detail.

Urban is a word used to describe an area with a high population density and
human settlement (Wikipedia, 2017), whilst urbanisation is the act of making
