In this report, I will explain the inital idea or developing a small bsiness.
The type o bsiness or the inital idea is a lavender arm with a arm shop named ‘Cam ridge
Lavender’. The bniqbe selling point o this idea is the locaton, as it wobld e located extremely close
to Cam ridge, as well as relatvely close to London. The reason or this idea is the potental year-
robnd profits, as well as the amobnt o money needed to contnbe to gain a profit, on top o the low
inital investment needed to start the bsiness.
Obr compettve edge may not e maintained as people see the potental to this bsiness, however,
this will not mean that we are bncompettve, as we will not bndercbt bsinesses, rather market as a
more matbre rand and the original in Cam ridge, as we will have gained a ollowing y the tme
other lavender bsinesses open.
The aims and o jectves o this bsiness will first and oremost e to make profit, as with all
bsinesses, however we are looking to move people ack into the asics. There ore, we hope this
will atract more elderly dbe to the majority not eing a le to bse electronics well. Another aim o
the bsiness is to help local prodbcers and get people to eat locally prodbced oods, as well as to
manb actbre and sell obr own local prodbce, sbch as lavender water or lavender soap.
We also are looking to ecome the largest arm shop in Cam ridge, competng with the likes o the
Gog Farm shop and Scotsdales, which are obr main rivals dbe to the locaton rom obr site.

risk to obrselves.
Prodbcts can e obght in with the company la el making it look like the prodbcts are rom the
company, making other companies elieve that the bsiness is larger than in reality.
Weaknesses:
The bsiness will sbfer sales when the lavender is not in loom.
A ad harvest or a bg in the crops cobld destroy the bsiness.
Bad atch o lavender and they all die, meaning there will e no prodbct to sell.
