badge
or
have
an
approved
escort;

enter
the
area
through
designated
entrances/access
points;
*
exit
the
area
through
designated
exits/access
points.

Display
Area
(SIDA)

ANS
A
portion
of
the
airport,
specified
in
the
Airport
Security
Program,
in
which
security
measures
specified
in
49
CFR
Part
1450
are
carried
out.
This
area
includes
the
Secured
area
and
the
AOA.

The
baggage
make-up
areas
beneath
the
terminal
buildings
(where
baggage
is
sorted,
loaded
and
unloaded)
is
considered
part
of
the
area.

NOTE:
Jet
bridges
are
not
considered
as
designated
entrance
points.
Sterile
area
-
ANS
The
portion
of
an
airport
terminal
accessible
to
the
travelling
public
that
is
controlled
through
the
screening
of
persons
and
property
and
provides
passengers
access
to
boarding
aircraft.
*
Screening
checkpoints
use
badge
readers,
automated
imaging
technology,
metal
detectors,
x-ray
machines
and
other
security
devices
to
screen
access
of
persons
and
property.

Only
ticketed
passengers
and
DFW
Airport
badge
holders
who
