1. Inleiding
Farmacognosie (geneesmiddelen - kennis) = behandelt natuurproducten, gebruikt als geneesmiddel,
voor de productie van geneesmiddelen, en voor het onderzoek naar nieuwe geneesmiddelen
Drug/extract ratio = the ratio between the quantitiy of herbal substance used in the manufacture of
a herbal preparation and the quantity of the herbal preparation obtained. The number written
before the colon is the relative quentitiy of the herbal substance, the number written after the colon
