1) UK Family on a budget interested in entertainment
Colchester would attract families because there are many activities they are able
to do beginning with the UK’s second best zoo in the world (Colchester zoo), the
tickets are also relatively afordable at just £11.89 for children and £15.26 for
adults where children will be able to look at many diferent animals and even get
a chance to feed a few e.g. elephants, girafes and goats. Inside the zoo the
family can also eat a meal if they choose to at one of the restaurants meanwhile
the children can play in the zoo park free of charge. Later they could visit
Colchester castle where there are many interactive activities relating to the
history of the Romans, the family can dress up as roman nights for a cute family
picture! If planning to stay overnight they could stay at The Courtyard Rooms
(B+B) which is ideal for families as it includes a children’s outdoor play area,
fishing, a TV and giFdi.
2) Older people on a day trip interested in tours and
sightseeing
Older people may find it difcult to walk around all around Colchester therefore
they could use the local bus company to get to their desired locations. dirst of all
they could visit Colchester castle and get a private tour exploring the history and
culture of Colchester, inside the castle there is a lift making it easy for the couple
to get from one foor to another. Moreover they could sit and relax in the
beautiful castle park surrounded by greenery and fowers. dor some food and
drink the couple could go for a lovely café in the park, sipping cofee and eating
biscuits while having the breeze of the wind on their shoulders.

In Colchester there are many theatres that a Japanese tourist could visit such as
the mercury theatre, Headgate theatre and Lakeside theatre with many shows
such as pantomimes. There is also a Colchester arts centre which hosts an
incredible variety of entertainment events with theatre productions, music,
comedy and live art. Then after visiting all these the tourist can go for a huge
shopping trip in big brand shops such as Topshop, Primark and new look and
none of these shops would be found in japan. There is also a Colchester market
held weekly on dridays and Saturdays on the high street.
