Uitleg begrip medische microbiologie:
Biologische: studie van levende wezens die zichzelf bestaan (geen virussen hebben een gastheer
nodig om te overleven)
Micro: enkel waarneembaar op een microscoop
- Lichtmicroscoop voor bacteriën
- Elektronenmicroscoop voor virussen
