Stakeholders Responsibilities
Students To learn effectively, provide feedback
for improvement. Acting as the
customer here.
IT support (Network Administrators, To make sure learning can take place
Providers, IT infrastructure) effectively without any disruptions of IT
services, like lag or delay and making
sure that students cannot misuse the
services by external applications on
their computers.
Tutors/Teachers delivering the remote To make sure that learning that takes
learning place online is as engaging as real life
characters.
Parents Their responsibility is to make sure that
their children (the students) pay
attention to the classes and not
Student support workers Even though the support workers won’t
be able to build a connection with a
student that has special needs as they
would in person, they still have to make
the best of the situation, and use the
most efficient and advanced tools to
help other students.
Board of Education To make sure that all the students have
some sort of a connection or device to
attend online lessons. If some students
who don’t have those devices, then the
board of education should be providing
them with laptops to learn.
Plus any dietary requirements for
individuals who meet the criteria to do
so.
Information Gathering
, Now that the stakeholders and their roles are identified for this project, I now have to identify some of
the ways that I can gather information from these stakeholders as for any project, collecting as much
information as possible is key to calculate the scope and best course of action to take for the success of
the project.
Some of the different ways I can gather information from these stakeholders are as following: -
Verbal Discussions/ Formal Interviews
Questionnaires/ Online Questionnaires
Class Surveys
Email
Video Conferencing
Minutes of a meeting
Work Shadowing / Observing
Researching similar case studies
Face to Face Meetings/Verbal Discussions: -
The reason why this is not an “interview” is because this can make parents more
hesitant to attend so keeping it informal means that more parents will attend and
thus I will be able to get more ideas in detail.

Online Questionnaires
I can use online tools like Google Forms to create an aesthetic online questionnaire
which I can send the link to parents to complete. In these surveys I can ask a variety
of questions regarding remote learning and how the lockdown experience has been
for them and hear their ideas for improvement.
Here is the link to the Microsoft forms questionnaire.
