, Voorwoord

Mijn naam is Jherzy Wolters, een 23-jarige MBO-verpleegkundige die werkzaam is in de Geestelijke
gezondheidszorg (GGZ) bij de organisatie Mediant GGZ. Mediant heeft twee locaties met klinische
behandelafdelingen, één locatie in Enschede en een locatie in Hengelo. De locatie waar ik werk is
gevestigd in Hengelo, deze locatie heet de Opmaat. Binnen de Opmaat zijn er vier klinische
afdelingen waarvan drie open behandelafdelingen en een gesloten behandelafdeling. De gesloten
behandelafdeling heet afdeling Intensieve Zorg en dit is de afdeling waar ik werkzaam ben.
Op afdeling Intensieve zorg wordt zorg geboden aan cliënten die in een zogenoemde crisis verkeren.

Voor de HBO-V volg ik momenteel de module ‘OHBOV12 - Verpleegkundige zorg aan zorgvragers in
de palliatieve fase’. Bij deze module hoort een beroepsproduct, over de inhoud van het
beroepsproduct valt meer te lezen in de inleiding.

Een hbo-verpleegkundige bezit verschillende competenties die in te schalen zijn in gebieden volgens
de CanMEDS-rollen (V&VN, z.d.). Bij dit beroepsproduct wil ik me verder ontwikkelen in de rol van
‘de Zorgverlener’.

De genoemde namen van alle betrokkenen zijn fictieve namen om de persoonsgegevens te
beschermen in het kader van de privacywet.
