P4: In this part of my assinnment I will be planninn and desinninn a market researc h ac tvity for Thomas Cook
18-30’s holiday c lub. For my ornanisaton that I will be usinn to fnd a market researc h of Thomas Cook. My aim
is to net some sort of ideas of what younn people’s anes between 18-30’s ideal holiday is, how muc h are they
willinn to spend and what they lookinn for when bookinn a holiday. My objec tve for this market researc h is to
fnd out whenever the 18-30 c lub is more popular amonn the 18-55-year-old or 5 -30-year olds and how many
of these are students, I also want to fnd out how muc h people are willinn to spend on a holiday, what
destnatons they would be willinn to visit, how many holidays they no for in a year and what kind of ac tvates/
entertainment there are usinn on their holidays. My main objectie is to fnd out all this informatonn; the
preferenc es, budnet willinn to spend and atrac ton used the most by younn people so that the Club 18-30s c an
adjust and make holidays that will meet and the needs and preferences of younn people so that that the club
18-30’s can increase their sales towards the young age group by at least 10% by next year. I would like to
nather all this informaton so that Thomas Cook 18-30s c an ofer new destnaton by next year in pric es and
needs that younn people may be willinn to pay for. To fnd all this informaton I have c reated an online
questonnaire/survey whic h I shared on my Fac ebook profle so that people c an fll it in and I c an c ollec t this
data. I purposely shared the survey on the Fac ebook online platorm as I know that most younn people now
days have an ac c ount on Fac ebook and they spend a lot of their tme on soc ial media so it is a nreat appeal. I
want to make a primary researc h (survey) by myself as I want to c ompare my results to other c ompanies’
online data that I have found on various websites.
