De keuze die je hele leven veranderdHet boek waarover ik een recensie ga schrijven is het boek Divergent 1: Inwijding
geschreven door Veronica Roth. Het boek gaat over de hoofdpersoon Beatrice Prior.
In hun wereld leven ze in 5 facties: oprechtheid, zelfverloochening,
onverschrokkenheid, vriendschap en eruditie. Ze is zelf geboren in zelfverloochening.
Nu ze zestien wordt mag ze haar eigen factie gaan kiezen met behulp van een
persoonlijkheidstest. Deze test werkt niet bij haar. Ze staat voor een moeilijke
beslissing bij haar familie blijven of zelf een nieuwe factie kiezen.
Mijn mening over het boek. Ik vind het boek verrassend, Beatrice deed dingen die ik
niet altijd verwachtte. Het voelde realistisch terwijl het niet een realistisch verhaal is
omdat de wereld natuurlijk niet verdeeld kan zijn in 5 facties. Dit past ook bij het
genre van dit boek, dat is namelijk science fiction. Je wordt echt meegenomen in het
boek, ik vond het ook echt spannend, waardoor ik hem zo heb uitgelezen. De
personages zijn heel duidelijk beschreven waardoor je duidelijk een bepaald karakter
kent bij de personages. Het boek past bij zijn leeftijd kwalificatie, die is namelijk 12-
15 jaar.
Kortom is dit echt een aanrader als je houdt van spannende en meeslepende boeken.
Ook als je houdt van sciencefictionboeken. Ben je tussen de 12 en 15 jaar, is dit zeker
een aanrader voor jou. Als je het boek hebt gelezen is ook de film echt een aanrader
om te zien.
