1. Grecia: ocupa el extremo sur de la península de Balcanes, por el este, el mar mediterráneo se
divide en Grecia continental y Peloponeso. También ocuparon las islas de Creta, Egeo, Costas de Asia
Menor, Costas del mar Mediterráneo e incluso parte de la india.


1.1. Arquitectura Griega

 Sistema constructivo: adintelado
 Edificios importantes: templos


1.1.1.Templo griego
 Dimensiones reducidas, por ser casa de divinidad
de culto
 Las modificaciones del capitel de las columnas
dieron pie a los órdenes arquitectónicos: Dórico,
Jónico y Corintio.
 Algunos templos son: El Partenón (orden
dórico), Erecteion de Atenas (orden jónico), Zeus
olímpico (orden corintio).




1.2. Escultura Griega: evoluciono durante diferentes periodos:
 Periodo arcaico (650 a.c.-500 a.c.): desarrollan monumental
escultura de mármol
 Periodo clásico (500 a.c. -323 a.c.): punto culminante creativo
 Periodo Helenístico (323 a.c.-27 a.c.): el estilo griego del arte
tridimensional se practica en todo el mediterráneo.
