BTEC Diploma level 3 in Business Unit number: Unit 3 Assignment ttle: Chocoholic

Unit ttle: Introuucton to Marketng Learner s name: Daniil Chernat

P4) Use marketin research for marketin plaiiiin.

A marketing plan is something that a business wants to achieve in future. The are
many things that are included in marketing plan. For example, identifying the aims
and objectives of a business, SMART objectives and PEARAIS analysis. I am going to
use PESTLE analysis, SWOT analysis and SMART objectives.

PESTLE

Politcal – There might be some problems with the product Pearais, because UK
government might decide to increase the taxation on peanuts, which could efect
Cadbury as they might not make any proft on this product. However, this is unlikely
to happen as peanuts have currently a demand and a lot of people eat it. Therefore,
government is less likely to increase the tax on the peanut products.

Ecoiomic – Pearis is considered as a cheap product which means diferent types of
segments can aford to buy it. Therefore, this product will have a demand and
technically it should do well as it is a tasty and cheap product. The price of the
Pearis is £0.80 and 80% of people said, “80p would be a suitable price and another
20% said that it is to expensive”.

Social – This means that if people will say that chocolate is unhealthy and we are not
going to eat it then there will be no demand on the Pearis product, as it is made out
of chocolate, peanut and butter. Therefore, social fact depends a lot of the sales of
the product.

Techiolonical – This means that Cadbury will use even faster machines, that will
produce high quality products in a short period of time. As Cadbury has already
invested £14m on machinery for one of their factories, in order to produce Pearis,
Cadbury could use this machines.

Lenal – This means when for example, the government would introduce a new rule
on the hygiene of the products. Therefore, Cadbury has to follow the law, otherwise
they might get fees.

Eiviroimeital – Cadbury would use materials that can be recycled, because they
care about the environment. Therefore, Cadbury has to always think about which
rapping they use and will they be able to recycle it.
