brake system, no oil or grease on linings, must disengage

-Reject vehicle if the brake pad surface is covered with this - -grease or oil
-Reject vehicle if brake discs or drums have these - -substantial cracks in
friction surface, excessive rust, oil or grease contamination
-Reject vehicle if the inside diameter of the drum is: - -larger than the
discard thickness stamped on the drum
-Reject vehicle if any brake disc thickness is: - -Thinner than the discard
thickness stamped on the disc
-Hydraulic system components that must be free of leaks and structural rust
- -Master cylinder, Reservoir, brake lines/hoses, ABS hydraulic unit, Calipers,
Wheel Cylinders
-Power Assist Braking System Check - -Engine off- push pedal until it
becomes firm. Start engine and ensure brake pedal drops slightly.
-How to test vacuum assist check valve - -After checking Power assist
operation, shut engine off. Press brake pedal several times ensuring that 2 or
3 applications are assisted before pedal becomes stiff again.
-Exterior body component requirements - -Vehicle must have solid attached
hood, doors, fenders, etc.
-Reject vehicle (Exterior) - -Rust holes in passenger area or structure.
Inoperable door latches, Trunk area unsealed, Hood latch fails to operate.
, -Exterior door handle removal requirements - -Must be able to manually
open from inside of vehicle
-Reject vehicle (Exterior) - -Fenders do not cover tire tread, front or rear
