-Reject vehicle if the brake pad surface is covered with this - -grease or oil

-Reject vehicle if brake discs or drums have these - -substantial cracks in
friction surface, excessive rust, oil or grease contamination

-Reject vehicle if the inside diameter of the drum is: - -larger than the
discard thickness stamped on the drum

-Reject vehicle if any brake disc thickness is: - -Thinner than the discard
thickness stamped on the disc

-Hydraulic system components that must be free of leaks and structural rust
- -Master cylinder, Reservoir, brake lines/hoses, ABS hydraulic unit, Calipers,

-Power Assist Braking System Check - -Engine off- push pedal until it
becomes firm. Start engine and ensure brake pedal drops slightly.

operation, shut engine off. Press brake pedal several times ensuring that 2 or
3 applications are assisted before pedal becomes stiff again.

-Exterior body component requirements - -Vehicle must have solid attached
hood, doors, fenders, etc.

-Reject Vehicle (Fuel System) - -Missing fuel fill cap, Evaporator hose
disconnected/broken

-Reject Vehicle (Fuel System) - -Fuel line rusted to near failure

-Seat Belts required in this year and newer - -1966

-Seat Mounting Requirements - -Mounted to floor, adjustable seats must
stay in position

-Retractable Seat Belts required in this year and newer - -1980

-Battery requirements - -Must have functioning hold down system, not
located in passenger compartment without proper cover

-Vehicles required to have splash guards - -6000 lbs GVWR and up

-License Plate Requirements - -Must be current, horizontally mounted so as
to be easily read, and be displayed front and rear.

-Exhaust Components Required - -The exhaust system includes the exhaust
manifold, the piping leading from the flange at the exhaust manifold to and
including the mufflers, the tail piping, and the catalytic converter.

-Exhaust system must be free of: - -Leaks, holes, unsupported/clamped
components, loose baffles.

-Exhaust system must exit where? - -Completely to side or rear of the
enclosed passenger portion of the vehicles body.

-What year Catalytic Converters are required - -1982 and newer

-Maximum size of un-repaired bullseye windshield fractures allowed in
Critical Vision Area - -1 Inch

-Maximum length of Windshield cracks allowed anywhere on the windshield
