Poëzie – proza
Het is niet mogelijk Poëzie of proza sluitend te definiëren.
- Wel Poëzie, maar zonder de kenmerkende eigenschappen.
Poëzie is een concept; een begrip dat mensen gebruiken om de werkelijkheid te ordenen.
Dit kan veranderen.
Inperkende factoren; Signalen die de tekst begeleiden en institutionele context.
Poezie=onkruid; er is geen precieze definitie voor.
Lyriek-epiek-dramatiek
Lyriek:
- Monologische taalsituatie; 1 spreker aan het woord, een lyrisch ik.
- Vaak momentaan, in het moment (nu). Spreekt vaak tegen iemand anders.
- Emotioneel karakter; Exclamatio (uitroep, zoals O, Ach etc.) Apostrofe richt zich
tot Je/jij/Gij
Epiek:
- Ingebedde taalsituatie; matroushka’s, de verteller vertelt een verhaal over iemand
anders. Zit als lagen in elkaar.
- Tijdsverloop; het is een tijdsverhaal, niet in het moment.
Dramatiek:
- Dialogische taalsituatie; twee of meer personages met elkaar in dialoog.
- Geen verteller
- Wel gebeurtenissen en tijdsverhaal, niet verteld, vooral getoond.
- Niet makkelijk te lezen, meer om op te voeren op toneel.
- Kan ook een lyrische uitbarsting bevatten.
