PROLOGUE

● Summary: Peter, who is illiterate, asks Romeo and Benvolio to read an invitation list for
him. Upon learning about the feast at Capulet’s house, they decide to attend.

● Summary: Benvolio tries to convince Romeo to forget about Rosaline and find a new
love interest at the feast. Romeo reluctantly agrees to go.
ACT 1 ,SCENE 3
