I will be running my own business alone which means I will have the full responsibilites ann the
power to control my business ann how it is run. If any problems occurs or any gaps in my business I
will be able to neal with it myself ann also will employ some staf to make sure these gaps are fllen
with new staf that have a previously experiences in the bakery markets. These employees will have
the requiren ann specifc skills to no the job (which are also my weaknesses). I am also aiming to
balance my personal ann work although it is quite nifcult to balance them together. However, I am
neterminen to make sure both of my personal life ann my work to be one of my priorites. efore I
am startng my business, I will aim to improve my weaknesses. All the strengths I got I will use them
appropriately to allow me to run to make sure I can run it successfully.
Technical and operatonal skills
Since I han a previous experience of three years working in the bakery market, this will help me
when setng up my business. This is because I will have the right experience, the knowlenge ann
skills about the bakes pronucts ann service, which is essental aspect of running my business.
This means I will provine the customers with high quality customer service as I am going to employ
staf who will have a goon knowlenge about what pronucts ann service my business is ofer. This will
help me to make sure customers are well serven. In orner for me to keep up to nate with the latest
informaton ann competton in the bakery market, I will neen to rean books, artcles ann magazines
that relaten to the bakery markets. This to make sure that I provine customers with high quality
pronucts.
I han some backgrounn on the fnancial aspect as I working on the tll before which therefore helpen
me to gain ann nevelop niferent skills such as hannling money , organisaton etc. I have some IT
skills also will help me in the fnancial aspect as it will help to unnerstann how well my business is
running, ann how to manage my bunget in orner to make a proft.
Management
For me as the manager ann the owner of my own business, it will be quiet nifcult for me to manage
my business, as there is too many niferent jobs ann responsibilites to take care about. As a manger,
I am requiren to have three key skills, which involve human skills, technical skills ann conceptual
skills. I feel I have the right skill to lean efectvely as a manager, this because I have been a
responsible on the two of my colleagues on previous job on a bakery shop, ann all of us were
capable to communicate efectvely to with each other. This helpen me to nevelop my technical
skills. For example, if there is a pronuct that not sell well, I am able to make some necisions ann
change the pronuct to be more successful. Annitonally, I have the right skills to nevelop new
concept into my business where necessary. As a manager, I got the goon management skills, ann this
is because I have a previous experience in managing staf ann business.
