Ik ben Lieke, 21 jaar en ik zit in mijn tweede jaar van de opleiding HBO-verpleegkundige op
de Hogeschool Rotterdam. In OP7 volg ik het keuzevak ‘Mijn gezondheid de baas’. Ik heb
voor dit keuzevak gekozen omdat ik mijn gezondheid en welzijn wil verbeteren. Omdat ik de
opleiding tot verpleegkundige volg heb ik er later ook veel aan. Naast dat het voor mezelf
belangrijk is, is het ook belangrijk voor mijn toekomstige cliënten. Als er veel
verpleegkundige uitvallen door CANS (Complaints of the Arm, Neck and/or Shoulders) heeft
dit negatieve gevolgen voor de cliënten. Hierdoor kan er minder zorg geboden worden. Het
is dus zowel negatief voor de client als voor mijzelf. Ik heb gekeken naar wat ik al goed doe
en waar ik nog vooruitgang in kan boeken. Ook heb ik gekeken welke risicofactoren ik loop
en wat voor interventies ik kan toepassen om dit te voorkomen.
