o Een boezem: atrum
o Een kamer: ventrikel
Boezems en kamers worden gescheiden door een
soort ring van bindweefsel (fibeuze ring)
In deze ring liggen de AV-kleppen
o Rechts de 3 slippige klep: tricuspidalisklep
o Links de 2 slippige klep: mitralisklep
Bij de kamer uitgangen heb je ook kleppen: de
halvemaanvormige kleppen die bestaan uit:
o Pulmonaal kleppen: uitgang van de rechter
kamer
o Aortakleppen: uitgang van de linker kamer
