Anatomie komt van het Grieks en betekend ‘opensnijden’.
- Het is de studie van inwendige en uitwendige structureren en de fysieke relaties
tussen lichaamsdelen.
o Uitwendig: huid, oogbol.
o Inwendig: ellepijp, klieren.
o Fysieke relaties.
De bouw (structuur) en functie zijn altijd met elkaar verweven.
- Hartspiercel:
o Kan samentrekken.
o Kan geen elektrische prikkels geleiden.
- Spiercel:
o Kan wel prikkels geleiden.
o Kan niet samentrekken.
