·DEFINICIÓN: Ocupación que tuvo lugar en la Península Ibérica (menos
en los pueblos del norte) en los s. Vl y Vll, por parte del pueblo germánico
visigodo.
·¿POR QUÉ VINIERON LOS VISIGODOS A LA PENÍNSULA
IBÉRICA?:
En el siglo V, los hunos invadieron el centro de Europa y empujaron a los pueblos
germanos hacia el sur, invadiendo y saqueando el imperio romano de Occidente
y estableciéndose ahí, Los visigodos querían establecerse en la actual Francia,
pero fueron derrotados por los francos y se vieron obligados a entrar en la
Península Ibérica. Y ahí se quedarán los próximos 200 años.
·REYES:
-Leovigildo: Rey visigodo que unificó la Península Ibérica, rebotando a los suevos,
alanos y
vándalos.
-Recesvinto: Rey visigodo que unificó todas las leyes visigodas, según el derecho
romano.
-Recaredo: Rey visigodo que unificó religiosamente o espiritualmente el reino
visigodo, cómo,
obligó a todos a bautizarse.
-San Isidoro: Obispo de Sevilla, que recopiló todo el saber greco-romano a través
de los
copistas en una obra llamada “Etimologías”.
-AULA REGIA: Asamblea formada por nobles visigodos que ayudaban al rey
visigodo
aconsejando.
-CONCILIOS DE TOLEDO: Asambleas formadas por Obispos visigodos que
aconsejaban al
rey.
·ECONOMÍA: Como actividades económicas tenían la agricultura, la ganadería y
la artesanía.
