1 Homeostase
• Homeostatische regulatie = zeer belangrijk
o Zonder homeostase te afhankelijk van omgeving
- Bv: koudbloedige
• Input signal → Integrating center → output signal → Response
o Integrating centre en output signal soms overgeslagen
o Integrating centre zijn meestal de hersenen
• Feedback mechanisme nodig om overcompensatie tegen te gaan
o Negatieve feedback
- Respons gaat de stimulus tegen waardoor de lus wordt
afgesloten
o Positieve feedback (GEEN homeostase)
- Respons versterkt de stimulus en versterkt hierbij de lus.
• Geen homostase, maar homeostase
o Men wil geen vaste waarden, maar wil wel binnen een regio blijven
HOOFDSTUK 2 MOLECULAIRE INTERACTIES
1 Biomoleculen
• Eiwitten opgebouwd uit aminozuren
o Oligopeptide: 2-9 aminozuren
o Polypeptide: 10-100 aminozuren
o Eiwitten: >100 aminozuren
- In primaire, secondaire, tertiaire, of quaternaire structuur
2 Proteïnen
• Ligand nodig voor proteïne actief wordt
o Als proteïne een enzyme is dan spreken we van een substraat
o Geen covalente binding anders te veel werk om te binden en
ontbinden
• Verschillende soorten bindingen
o Specificiteit
- Proteïne met 1 ligand = specifiek proteïne
o Affiniteit
- Hoge affiniteit: meer kans op binding
▪ Bv: hemoglobine grootste affiniteit voor CO = gevaarlijk
- Lagere dissociatieconstante = hogere bindingsaffiniteit
- Agonist: ligand die lijkt op oorspronkelijk ligand en heeft zelfde effect
