Report on Hilton hotel
In this report I will be giving suggestions for Hilton hotel on new and
enhanced products and service they could offer to complement their
current provision and also attract more customers or better the
experience of existing customers to encourage customer loyalty.
To begin with Hilton hotel is a 5-star hotel which is the highest rating a
hotel can receive, Hilton has this rating as their hotels are luxurious and
offer a wide range of products and services that other hotels don’t offer
however due to their expensive prices this means many customers are
put off of staying at the hotel as they may not be able to afford it such as
gap year travellers as typically this type of customer is looking to
travel all year round to several destinations meaning they will
have limited funds available. In order to attract those customers and
encourage them to stay at Hilton the hotel could create a budget price at
the existing hotels which would offer the same luxurious experience by
providing customers with excellent customer service however within the
price the leisure facilities and food & drink wouldn’t be provided but could
be bought as an additional service if customers wish to do so and
therefore customers will only be paying for the room making it possible to
offer cheaper prices. By doing this Hilton will earn more profit due to
attracting many more customers such as solo travellers or business
customers who are apart of smaller businesses who can’t afford
the luxuriousness of some of the products Hilton offer who might of
previously chosen a cheaper alternative option.
Another way Hilton hotel could better their current products and services
is through offering specific packages for specific customers. Packages will
be tailor made for each type of customer for example they could offer a
family package which could include colouring books and pencils, cartoon
DVDs depending on the age group of the children, games and toys within
the room ready for when the family arrive. Another example would be a
couple’s package which would be perfect for honeymoons and celebrating
anniversaries and this package could include roses scattered on the bed
and floor, bath bombs, flowers, candles and romantic music ready for
when the couple arrive. Hilton could also offer a party package which
would be perfect for groups who are travelling to a different city for a
night out and this package could include a range of alcoholic drinks, party
games, party snacks and music. This may then attract specific events
such as hen dos and stag dos or any other special occasion such
