Department of Home Affairs in 2022. The Department defines the Branch
Appointment Booking System as a system that enables people to make electronic
online bookings for certain services provided by the Department of Home Affairs. It
allows citizens to schedule appointments for the processing of their applications for
passport, smart ID cards, and other services offered by the Department,
(Department of Home Affairs, 2023).
People require a smartphone, computer, and an internet connection in order to
access the system's online portal because it is entirely online. People who wish to
