In this assignment I will outline different types of holidays available in long-haul destinations that
meet specific UK visitor motivations.
Asia:
China
Beijing can be selected as a historical place in Asia as they have the Great wall of China which has
been there for more than 200 years. Typical types of holidays could include twin or multi centre.
Motivators could be for culture and history and attractions such as the great wall of China, The
Palace Museum, Temple of Heaven etc. visitor could also visit for entertainment such as gambling.
The online travel agency ‘’Traveller’’ offers a 9 nights multi centre to Hong Kong, Beijing and
Shanghai which includes accommodation and flight tickets. They also include free Hong Kong Island
Tour with Sampan Ride, free Essential Beijing Tour, Shanghai Half Day City Tour and free Transfers
